Brass Fish and Barbet team up for a Dry Happy Hour
From July 3rd to 6th, Brass Fish Tavern is popping bottles of the sparkling water variety.
To mark the arrival of the AA International Convention in Vancouver (July 3 to 6), the downtown hotspot is teaming up with Barbet for an afternoon of zero-proof sips, spirit-free cocktails and bubbly vibes, no hangover in sight. From 3 to 6 p.m., Barbet will be setting up a tasting station so guests can try their full-flavoured fizz in creative combos like cucumber with yuzu or blood orange with jalapeño.
Not to be outdone, the Brass Fish bar team will be mixing up cocktail creations using Barbet’s blends along with housemade foams and syrups that would impress even the most seasoned mixologist.
“Freehouse Collective has long taken pride in our commitment to zero-proof and low-proof cocktails and drinks,” shares bar and beverage director Conor McKeown, in a release. “We’re excited to partner with Barbet on these menus to work with them on this pop-up at Brass Fish during the AA International Convention.”
The pop-up will take place in the Izakaya-inspired front lounge, with live music from Randy Swallow setting the tone. Whether you're convention-bound or just curious about the booze-free buzz, it’s a chance to raise a glass without lowering your guard.
