The Best Places to Book Your Holiday Party in Vancouver
Our 2026 guide to holiday and Christmas party venues in Vancouver
December fills up fast. Whether you're planning the office holiday party, a staff Christmas dinner or a year-end night out with friends, the venue is the first thing to lock in, and the best Thursday and Friday nights go early.
Freehouse Collective runs 10 holiday party venues in Vancouver, BC, and nearby Burnaby and Langley, from Vancouver's oldest pub to a whisky-stocked tavern in the Marine Building and a pub overlooking English Bay. Here's how each one works for a holiday party, by size, neighbourhood and vibe. One inquiry covers all of them, and our events team replies with a package and quote within 24 hours.
Downtown Vancouver holiday party venues
Brass Fish Tavern, Financial District
Best for: client dinners and corporate holiday parties.
Inside the iconic Marine Building on Burrard, Brass Fish is a grand-but-earnest tavern with a stylish parlour room and a curated list of 250+ whiskies. It's our most flexible space for a corporate holiday party.
Book the private dining room for a 12-person leadership dinner, the semi-private Mezzanine Lounge (couches, coffee tables, room for 50) for a team celebration, or the whole tavern for up to 250 standing. A DJ booth and small stage cover speeches, awards and the late-night dance floor.
Capacity: 130 seated on the main floor · 50 in the Mezzanine · 12 in the private dining room · 250 standing
Address: 385 Burrard St, Vancouver
Butcher & Bullock, Financial District
Best for: team parties that need more than small talk.
A proper pub in time-honoured fashion, Butcher & Bullock gives your crew something to do besides hover by the bar. There's a parlour room and arcade with pool, pinball and skeeball, a 202-inch big screen, and 28 beers on tap.
It's made for a staff Christmas party that turns into a skeeball tournament. A projector and DJ setup handle the slideshow and the playlist.
Capacity: 100 seated · 250 standing
Address: 911 W Pender St, Vancouver
Ballyhoo, Theatre District
Best for: mid-size teams and department parties.
Ballyhoo is Manhattan by way of Dublin: a boisterous, vintage-modern watering hole between Downtown and the West End, built for business, banter or both. A pool table, a covered heated patio and 16+ beers on tap make it a strong fit for a holiday social of 60 to 90 guests.
Capacity: 60 seated · 90 standing
Address: 888 Burrard St, Vancouver
Gastown holiday party venues
The Lamplighter Public House, Gastown
Best for: big company parties with a sense of occasion.
Vancouver's oldest pub has been pouring since 1925, when it opened with the first beer parlour licence issued in BC after Prohibition. Today it's a brick-lined room with stained glass, 50 beers on tap, pool, pinball and arcade games, 17 TVs, two big screens and a DJ booth for when the night picks up.
It seats more guests than any other Freehouse venue in the Vancouver area, and it has a coat check, which matters in December.
Capacity: 200 seated · 250 standing · 60 on the patio
Address: 92 Water St, Vancouver
Clough Club, Gastown
Best for: cocktail parties and smaller teams.
Named for Gastown's old-time, one-armed lamplighter, Clough Club is a cocktail den with vintage flair and an irreverent streak. The private back room keeps a small holiday party intimate, and the bar team can build custom cocktails for your group, like a signature holiday drink with your company's name on it.
A DJ or live music setup is available, plus a projector and TV for speeches or a year-in-review slideshow.
Capacity: 33 seated · 50 standing
Address: 212 Abbott St, Vancouver
English Bay: a holiday party with a view
The Three Brits Public House, English Bay
Best for: small teams and friend groups who want the view.
Three Brits is a beachfront hangout overlooking English Bay, named for the three English "greenhorns" who bought the land that became the West End in the mid-1800s. It brings tried-and-true publican service to a team dinner or cocktail-style party, with five TVs and a DJ setup available for speeches and the playlist.
Weekend brunch is on the menu too, so ask about a daytime holiday party.
Capacity: 65 seated · 80 standing
Address: 1780 Davie St, Vancouver
Main Street, East Vancouver, and Langley holiday parties at Sing Sing
Sing Sing is comfort food at a beer bar: pho, pizza and rotating local craft beer, served at long tables built for groups. Its two East Van locations are our most relaxed, family-friendly picks for teams who'd rather share pizzas than sit through a plated dinner.
Sing Sing Main Street, Mount Pleasant
Best for: casual parties for craft beer fans.
The original Sing Sing is a lofty, modern space with a garage-door storefront onto Main Street. With 24 rotating taps, long tables, a covered patio and a DJ setup on request, it's built to be taken over: 4,000 square feet with room for 100 seated or standing.
Capacity: 100 seated · 100 standing · 11 on the patio
Address: 2718 Main St, Vancouver
Sing Sing Commercial Drive, East Vancouver
Best for: relaxed long-table dinners on The Drive.
Sing Sing Commercial brings the same pho, pizza and craft beer formula, plus a rotating natural and organic wine program for the non-beer drinkers in your group. Long tables and a covered patio make it easy to seat a whole team together.
Capacity: 86 inside · 50 on the patio
Address: 1191 Commercial Dr, Vancouver
Sing Sing Willowbrook, Langley
Best for: Fraser Valley teams and bigger groups.
Set in the Courtyard at Willowbrook Shopping Centre, Sing Sing Willowbrook pairs pho and hand-stretched pizza with serious cocktails, spirit-free options and a thoughtful beer list. An enclosed, heated patio and an indoor-outdoor bar give a Langley holiday party room to spread out, with 12 TVs and a barside DJ when it's time to turn it up.
Capacity: 150 seated · 50 on the enclosed patio · 25 on the breezeway patio
Address: 19705 Fraser Hwy, Unit 540, Langley

How to book your holiday party in four steps
Send an inquiry with your date, headcount and preferred neighbourhood. One form covers all 10 venues.
Get a detailed package and quote back within 24 hours.
Sign off on your event contract and make a deposit to hold your date.
Show up, relax and enjoy. We've got this.
A few tips before you send it:
Book early. Thursday and Friday nights in December go first. If your date is flexible, an early-week or January party opens up more options.
Start with a range. A rough headcount, say 40 to 60, is enough to match you with the right room.
Budget for food and drink, not room fees. Freehouse books events on a food-and-beverage minimum rather than a room rental fee.
Lock in your date
